We had initially planned to stayed here 7 days... but we shorten it by 2 days...

Undoubtedly it's a very beautiful place, with wild ducks coming to your doorstep looking for food...

seagulls at the bay and if u're into boating... a paradise...

The town is small enough to just walk all round... with many gardens to peek into... and lots of bistros and eateries to cater to your palette... lots of shops selling souvenirs and even lovely fudge.

We did enjoy our barbeque's, where lamb steaks were much much cheaper than chicken... and cooking a barbecue didn't leave u sweaty, hot and sticky...

Lovely sunsets at 9.00pm, and almost empty streets by 7.30pm to wander around the parks and pathways..

But as idyllic as it sounds... it can't entertain a bunch of young families with kiddos on tow... so sayonara and off to a farm stay on the way to Mt. Cook!
